Mother of Aeneas’ descendents, delight of those both human and divine, Nurturing Venus, you who beneath the sliding signs of the skies, In the sea filled with ships and the lands filled with fruits Bring forth bounty, through you every kind of living thing comes to be and arises to behold the light of the sun.
